James to Leverage Extensive Business Development Background as Company’s Global Chief Marketing Officer
PageUp People, a leading multinational talent management solutions provider, announced today that seasoned business executive Anthony J. James (AJ) has joined the company as Global Chief Marketing Officer. In this new role, James leverages more than 25 years of international sales and marketing experience to drive overall marketing strategy and identify and lead new market opportunities.
Throughout his career, James has spearheaded the leadership, growth and management of high-performance, multidisciplinary marketing, sales and creative operations throughout Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Europe, as well as in emerging markets around the globe. He most recently served as Group CEO of Sample Central, where he developed the concept of “tryvertising” (trying before you buy), created the global go-to-market strategy and grew the business worldwide by negotiating franchise agreements in more than 20 countries in less than five years. Previously, James was Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Creata, where he led marketing initiatives for the company’s creative and production services, working across 11 countries on five continents and overseeing 480 individuals. Earlier in his career, James held the positions of Vice President of Marketing, Asia Pacific at Fujitsu Consulting, Director of Sales and Marketing at ZIVO Internet Solutions and Divisional Manager of eBusiness Global for IBM Global Services.
