MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA – February 6, 2008 -Talent management solutions provider, PageUp People, previously PageUp, has today announced one of the largest deals in its history, the signing of global giant, Anglo American.

With around 90,000 employees, Anglo American is a global leader in mining and natural resources.

Anglo American have elevated their partnership with PageUp People, from being localised in Australia with part of the Anglo Coal division, to now additionally underpinning the recruitment drive across Southern Africa, UK and South America.

Despite looking into other vendors with global experience, the usability and global functionality of the PageUp People Recruitment Management solution supported the decision to extend the use to a world wide scale.

The global roll out, ongoing throughout 2007, was facilitated by PageUp People, with an implementation consultant working from Anglo’s Corporate Centre in South Africa and later from their London office.

Anglo American HR Adviser, Viloshini Pillay, is excited about the prospects of a global recruitment management solution.
