MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA – May 2, 2007 –Web-based people management software provider, PageUp, has this week signed an agreement with leading China-based corporate training company, ClarkMorgan to partner with PageUp and market its products to large multinationals operating in China.
PageUp has been contemplating entering the Chinese market for two years. Karen Cariss, CEO of PageUp believes the market is ready for sophisticated recruitment solutions now that employment in China has escalated.
“Online recruitment is new to the Chinese market so we plan to launch with our simple entry pack that incorporates our base modules, which supports all core recruitment activities.
“As the market adopts the new system we will then introduce our specialist modules if and when the market requires, including our employee referral and alumni and other new upgrades and modules as we release them in Australia.”
Morry Morgan, CEO of Clark Morgan will initially lead the marketing and sales along with the support of three PageUp staff who will be locally based and speak fluent Mandarin.
PageUp will supply onsite training and support in China as they do in Australia.
ClarkMorgan is one of the largest training companies in China with offices in five major Chinese economic centres with headquarters in Shanghai. The company started in 2005 and has trebled in size in less than eight months due to the enormous demand for soft skills communication training and recruitment in China.
