PageUp leads the way in integration, part of an ongoing commitment to put clients in touch with the 'best of breed' HR tools. As the central hub of the recruitment process, PageUp People offers clients the opportunity to pull together specialist providers best suited to each job campaign, integrating with online testing providers, advertising agencies, recruitment agencies, job boards, e-learning and HRIS systems. PageUp People maximises the benefits of the technology available today and clients are rewarded with shorter time to hire, reduced administrative costs and candidates that better match positions.
The concept behind PageUp's integration is the 'Hollywood Model' where groups of specialists are brought together to work on a film (i.e. job campaign) and then disbanded once it is complete. This provides clients with the flexibility to pick and choose their own suppliers ranging from sourcing to testing to payroll, rather than being locked into less suitable arrangements.
Typically recruiters of a graduate position with hundreds of applicants would utilise a testing provider to sift through the candidates, whilst for hard to fill positions they would need some kind of wide reaching sourcing methods. With PageUp People, technological requirements can be selected at the tick of a box depending on the job campaign. Some of the most recent sourcing technology available allows recruiters to not only post ads to multiple job boards simultaneously, but also post jobs directly to print media. PageUp People can integrate with software such as AdEnergy's innovative product ADCONTROL, meaning recruiters can simply create an advertising proof within PageUp People, chose which newspapers they wish it to appear in and post it directly to the paper.
Integration with online testing providers, ranging from numerical, verbal & mechanical to job matching and personality tests, means that the screening process has been transformed, allowing candidates to sit multiple online tests as part of their application process and with real time data transfer, recruiters can view results immediately. In addition to this, if a client wishes some of the recruitment activity to be outsourced, jobs can be filled by recruitment agencies through the PageUp People system.
Not limited to sourcing and testing, PageUp People also has the ability to migrate data from older style systems and integrates with HRIS software such as Rebus, SAP and Peoplesoft so candidate information can flow through to payroll once they have been hired. There is also the option to offer online training as part of the induction process. Using such a flexible system allows recruiters to minimise repetitive administration as the data flows through from system to system.
The fundamentals of the Hollywood model means that there is no limit to the providers PageUp People can integrate with. For more information about setting up your recruitment process to harness the power of the web, phone 03 9602 3300.
One of the most exciting recent developments is PageUp's integration with online testing provider Onetest for Coles Myer Limited. As part of the recruitment process candidates are asked to sit two online assessments that give a job matching profile. When a job becomes available, recruiters simply search the talent pool for candidates whose job profile matches the position. Since launching last month, the PageUp/Onetest integration has tested over 25,000 candidates.
The testing solution used by Coles Myer assesses a candidate?s ability to think on their feet and adapt to new or unfamiliar situations more readily - something that is often required in a fast paced retail environment. In addition to this, the information provided by Onetest is also assisting Coles Myer recruiters to accurately predict each candidate's likely level of job satisfaction with a wide range of positions before making final hiring decisions. This process assists with raising productivity and ultimately reducing staff turnover.
PageUp had two teams participate in the recent St George / BRW Corporate Triathlon on March 14. With the average distances of a 400m swim, 10km cycle and a 4km run it was no simple feat. Both teams completed the course successfully coming 1201st and 1236th out of 1518 corporate teams. Maybe it's time to spend some more time at the gym!
We would also like to wish Dayne Nash, PageUp's Business Development Manager, the best of luck with the ITU Triathlon World Champs in Portugal in May.
